JAMMU, May 3: Federation of Tourism Professionals of Jammu-Kashmir and Religious Tourism and Heritage of Jammu-Kashmir (JKRTH) have requested for bus service to different religious places in Jammu area.
In a press conference here today, Mahesh Chander Padha, founding member of the Federation along with JKRTH Cultural Chairman, Mahant Rajesh Bittu, said the bus service to Sukrala Mata Shrine is a good measure of the J&K government to promote tourism activities.
Padha informed that J&K Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) has started the bus service from Panjtirthi to Jammu to Sukrala Mata shrine in Billawar and the bus departs daily from Panjtirthi to Sukrala at 7am.
“It was an old pending demand of the people which has been met now by the government,” Padha told reporters.
Mahant Rajesh Bittu said, “Now we should focus on other religious places.”
He said that by next week, they will organize an ‘Ek Shaam Kana K Naam’ program in Jagti, after which a program in Mubarak Mandi will be organized.
