A European transport company will begin offering a London-Toronto bus service on Thursday.

FlixBus says its new line will offer daily service between Toronto, Hamilton and London.

Buses will depart Western University in London at 2:30 p.m., stop at McMaster University in Hamilton at 4:15 p.m. and arrive at Harbourfront in Toronto at 5:10 p.m.

Buses will leave Toronto at 11:15 a.m., stop in Hamilton at 12:05 p.m. and arrive in London at 1:50 p.m.

FlixBus advertises itself as “the largest long-distance bus network in Europe” and is also present in Canada, the United States and Brazil.

The company launched its Ontario network in April.

FlixBus launched a pilot project of fully electric long-distance buses in 2018 and last year launched the first biogas-powered long-distance buses in Europe.

In southwestern Ontario, its routes will be operated by partner bus line Skyway Coach Lanes.

Tickets are available on the FlixBus website and can be downloaded via the FlixBus app.
