New RedCoach bus service takes you from Houston to San Antonio for just $15

Bus company RedCoach is greenlighting the final leg of its Texas Triangle plan, offering service to San Antonio, starting Thursday, the company said.

“We understand the travel industry is causing stress for residents with rising gas, airline and rental car prices, so RedCoach is excited to add a stopover in San Antonio to our itineraries. in Texas,” said Florencia Cirigliano, vice president of marketing and society. Sales.

Trips will take place at 165 Bowie Street near the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter. As with other RedCoach routes, prices start at $15 one way.

The addition of the city of Alamo brings the total number of Texas locations served to seven, since the company expanded from Florida in October. RedCoach’s 26-seat buses currently travel to and from Houston, Katy, Austin, Dallas, Richardson and Waco. All locations except Katy will have direct service to San Antonio.

Last year, Cirigliano said the business would grow as it entered the market, gauging demand as the COVID pandemic subsided. She said the focus would be on offering low-cost travel between airlines and luxury bus options and discount bus carriers, while offering some conveniences such as Wi-Fi, power outlets, entertainment options and no baggage fees.

“To alleviate passenger stress, we are working to not only make travel affordable, but also seamless,” Cirigliano said.
